Hey guys, I noticed that some porters are having some problems in porting MIUI to other devices. It mainly utilizes the assembler/disassembler technology to craft a MIUI ROM for an existing ROM. Modifying the Google Nexus 5's operating system could leave it useless aka 'bricked' (Google Play) The term "brick" is often thrown casually in developer and ROM enthusiast circles. Many of you might be interested in learning about what 'bricking' actually is in terms of smartphones.  A new video from  XDA Developers  explains the concept of bricking in very simple terms.
